If someone asked me just a month from today if I ever thought I would be writing this post anytime soon I would have probably slapped them.
Blogging was one of the best thing that has ever happened to me. It was for me a life changing experience, but now it is time for me to say goodbye. Right after this post gets published this blog will no longer be active anymore. I have decided that it was time for me to close my blog. I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years now, so this decision is ultra-hard for me. I eyes even gets a little teary while writing this post, but sometimes we have to close a door in order to open another one.
During the years I learnt so much through my blog that goes beyond fashion & beauty. I met amazing people who truly inspired me. I found my voice and my passion trough this blog, but most importantly is that I found myself.
There are many reasons why I came to this decision. When I started this blog I started it out of curiosity. My love for fashion and beauty is what gave me the motivation, but it was my new found passion for writing that kept me going. Now I reached a point where my blog is limiting my possibilities and capabilities. I do not have the freedom to truly express myself through my words. Having something caging me in any way means for me that it is time to move on.
Still, I do love blogging and I do love fashion and beauty. I came up with a solution where I still can enjoy both worlds.
I decided to open my own personal writing blog. It’s would be mostly about life, love, and everything in between. On this blog I can pretend to be Carrie Bradshaw every time I write something. They will mostly be quotes, thoughts, and poems. Hopefully my words will inspire you or just simply entertain you sometimes.
My passion for fashion and beauty did not leave so I will still keep exploring that world, but just in another way. My blog’s Facebook page won’t be deleted, because I still have so much to share. I do have some plan for the future when it comes to fashion and beauty blogging. I’m thinking of becoming a guest blogger/columnist at some other blog. I just have to someone fun to collaborate with. I do have one project in my mind though, which may or may not involve a YouTube Channel (wink wink).
So all I can say is that you haven’t seen the last of me yet. This is just the beginning. I hope that I can count on your support just like you supported me through these 3 years.
My new blog is called: by Misz Aily. You can follow me on Twitter so you know every time I publish a new post, but you can also follow me on Tumblr where I’ll be sharing not only my work but poems of other (young) authors that I like (and maybe you too).
I am going to end this last post by thanking each of you for having my back. You all became part of my family and for that I will always be thankful for.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
