Emmy Awards 2011: I'm Not Use to Talk Behind People Back, But If You Are a Celebrity...

Lena Headey
Oke, I'm not gonna lie, but when I saw this dress for the first time I was a bit skeptical. Don't get me wrong its not an ugly dress, but there is just something missing. The dress fits her silhouette perfectly and the color black looks very chic on her, but there is just something - something I can lay my eyes on it.

Taraji. P. Henson in Blumarine
I love this women, but I hate her dress. What was she thinking for god sake?! This picture makes my eyes burn. I don't have words for this, sorry.

Minka Kelly in Christian Dior
Minka looks absolutely stunning in this long sleeved lace navy Christian Dior dress. I love how the dress fits her body and the color is also so elegant on her. Her makeup and dress is also flawless. Simple, elegant, classy.

Heidi Klum in Christian Siriano
For some reason, when I saw this dress I immediately thought of one of those national costume. You know the kind where the girls dance around kicking their feet? Now its different, I know. Just not red carpet different good.

Dianna Agron
This dress is really pretty and I would love if Dianna could send it to me. Just to play dress up you know. Metallic blue is a huge trend lately and come on its also always beautiful. The upper part was a bit doubtful, but I think she rocked it.

Evan Rachel Wood in Elie Saab
By now you should know that I have a crush on black dresses. Now add a little sparkle in it, and you have me head over heels for the dress. This old Hollywood look is just super glamorous, and also her pin curl wave makes her the perfect model for the dress.

Christina Hendricks
Having curves is one of the sexiest thing in my opinion, but one of the most annoying things when it comes to dressing up. Here is a perfect example on curves in a dress gone wrong. It's one thing to be proud of your little mamma's (mamasotes in her case), but it's another thing to just squeeze them into a dress that is almost rejecting every diameter of it. Oh and by the way, I think someone should set a meeting with Snooki - or at least try a darker dress color.

Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang
And this is how you rock your curves. I saw Sofia having struggles with her curves on several occasions, but this is by far her best look. The red color and the zigzag design gives her body a sexy-with-a-feminine-touch accent. Second favorite dress on the red carpet for sure.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Pucci
I get that sometimes you just don't want to spend time thinking and choosing what to dress, but if your a celebrity I would recommend you to stay home. Especially if you're choosing a dress for the red carpet. Wait, is this even a dress?

Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan
This is what I call a jaw-dropping look. I know this girl is gorgeous, but this is way more gorgeous than gorgeous. Sorry Nina, but I think the dress has a lot to do with this. The hourglass shape accentuated her body, but the strapless bones bustier and voluminous tale made every corner of her silhouette flawless. BEST DRESSED!

Styling Those Lips

Do you ever find yourself wondering which makeup to wear with what outfit? Does a bright lipstick work with a suit, or does that hot pink lip look good against your hot pink dress? We know it can be tricky, so we're here to tell you what works and what doesn't.

1. Brights on Brights
Bright makeup, just like bold-colored clothing, is huge this season. However, that doesn't mean you should wear them all together. Just as matching a neon eye shadow to an electric lipstick and lots of blush is a no-no, so too is wearing a super bright lipstick and four different colors in your outfit. Bright makeup paired with bright clothing is a very sensitive mix to master. Crimson red lipstick does work against a pink top, believe it or not, but a fuschia lipstick in the exact same shade as your dress is best to avoid. When you're wearing brightly colored clothes, keep bright makeup to one area only, such as an emerald green liner or a ruby lip, and be sure to mix your tones.
2. Pretty Pastels
Pastel makeup and clothing is a definite must. The soft, muted shades always look good together (imagine pretty macaroons in a box) but a bold red lip will most likely overpower a pastel outfit. Look at the colors in your clothes and try to match them to your makeup. Wearing a soft pink cardigan? It will look gorgeous against a pink lip and a little blush. Just be sure you're not too matchy-matchy. And if you want to take it slow, you can always rock a pastel manicure.
3. The Dark Brigade
Come fall, we all want to pull out our burgundy lipsticks and vampy nail polishes. However, certain outfits just won't work with these colors. For example, pairing dark makeup and manicures with a simple suit for work or an all-black ensemble may make you look a little more Goth than you bargained for. The best way to make these colors work is with contrasts. Match a dark lip with a white shirt and you'll look crisp and different. Swipe on a dark polish when wearing a soft pink sweater and you'll have a beautiful juxtaposition.

Grazia PC Catwalk '11

Sunday September 4, 2011 was P.C Hoofstraat in Amsterdam transformed in a 320 meters long catwalk. This spectacular show was organized by Grazia Magazine and Fashion and Museum District. The best thing of this event was that you could sit front row completely for free. I attended this show with my friend and fellow blogger of Shopaholic Over Here. We've got there very early so we could get the best seat possible.

After an introduction of some dancer dressed in Wella Professionals shirt and a performance of X-Factor sensation Adlicious the show begun.

This event showed all the latest trends for fall and winter 2011/2012 of all the famous labels like D&G, Replay, Prada, etc.etc.

Here are some pictures of the event and also a video I made. It's the first video I've ever made, so be gentle! Actually I'm very proud of my work, I hope you like it too.
